Magueyes...

The first idea has to do with color, I decided to extract color samples from different pictures of magueyes, aguave, and earth. Once again, the idea is to make a color catalogue that we can apply differently. Here I is an example.
Here are as well a couple of pictures as visualization of the space, The idea is to make a geometrical composition using the colors extracted from magueyes pictures. The geometrical shapes are inspired in the root of the aguave, and I would like them to have volume (like 3D shapes). Like a trapezoid of some sort (or a flat pyramid). I've never done nothing like that before, but I think it could be nice to do something inspired in mexican stuff like magueyes, tequila, etc. Using an abstract and geometrical arrangement. Let me know if I'm not being clear with all the trapezoid stuff. I'll try to make a sketch. For now here are some images of the bar and the mural on the back using the color palette.

And these are the colors extracted from the magueyes and earth pictures:

I would like to inspire myself in geometrical shapes like this one, like a sort of pyramids.

TILES I

I've been thinking in ceramic tiles. I have no clue on how can a tile mural could look like inside a restaurant (or this restaurant). But I think that using our "Mexican custom-made color palette" we could make a pretty nice mural that relates to México in an elegant way. Well, tell me what you think. In the meanwhile I'll go and take some pictures of tile walls and I'll upload them later.
Here is an example:

IDEAS II

This piece of thick transparent acrylic was painted on one side with Coca-cola red (color matched at the paint supply store). I made it for another project, but I think it could be another good idea to use painted acrylics, because they have nice reflexions (like mirrors) and they can be painted using colors based on our custom palette.
